Overview
Located in the city of Lakewood, about a 20 minute drive from Knotts Berry Farm, San Martin Park is affectionately known as “pumpkin park”, due to the original Cinderella-themed pumpkin carriages that were installed in the park. In 2014, a new playground was installed that included a new pumpkin carriage with two horses and a large castle play structure. The playground is also wheelchair friendly and accessible for kids of all abilities. The park is rather spacious, with multiple ball fields and a large lawn area. Cross streets do circle the entire park, so parents will want to make sure to keep an eye on the smaller kids. Overall, this is a phenomenal park, with a fantastic and unique playground.
