Overview
Recently, I have become aware of the amazingness that many public libraries have to offer. Admittedly, libraries are a place that I have rather seldom visited over my years of life. Now that I have a little child, I’ve branched out a little bit and have been rather shocked to learn how cool and entertaining so many libraries are, with especially unique and fun areas for children. While visiting libraries with a two year old can be tough, it’s also been a great way for us to introduce our daughter, Scout, to playing quietly in indoor spaces.
The Anaheim Central Library is a great spot to visit with kids. The entrance to the children’s library greets patrons immediately upon entering the library and really catches the visitors eye.
The theme of the children’s library is an African Safari theme. A huge Giraffe and tree are the focal point of the main area of the children’s library.
Additionally, a reading area exists with animals, such as Rhinos, Elephants and Lions breaking through the Library wall.
The library is incredibly well put together and kids are sure to enjoy exploring and visiting. A great teen area with tons of comics is adjacent to the children’s library as well.
