Overview
Riverton Park, is a beautiful, 5 acre park in the city of Temecula, that was reopened with a “cabin in the woods” themed playground in late 2019. The first thing you will notice upon entering the play area is the many slides and the scenic setting. The playground is backed by a wooded area and has a nice nature feeling to it. A paved walking path circles the park along with a big perfect lawn area as well. This is another of the many great parks in Temecula.

My Story
As my wife and I were driving through Temecula, on our way to Borrego Springs with our daughter, I saw Riverton Park on google maps. On our drive home a few days later, we decided to stop after having spent some time at Butterfield Stage Park. Just as we arrived, our daughter, Scout, did what 14 month olds do, and fell asleep. I was looking forward to getting out and exploring the park more and letting Scout play but we will visit another day. After snapping a few quick pictures, to show my wife what the park looked like, we headed for home. We definetly didn’t get a chance to truly experience this park but it looked cool enough that I felt it deserved a mention and a further visit in the future.
