Overview
The Carlsbad Premium Outlets is a large, outdoor outlet mall with tons of shops and options for people of all ages and preferences. There are great kids shops, athletic shops and high end shops as well. For those with kids, they may want to check out the kids animal themed “Safari Train”.
The train is located just past the Coach and Adidas Outlet and just before the Skechers outlet. While the train is small and meant for smaller kids, I am sure that the kids will get a kick out of the cool jungle animals that are on the train and the surrounding area.
Another nice aspect of the train is that they give kids quite a bit of time on it. I think my daughter rode for around ten minutes.
The setback is that the price is incredibly steep for what it is. We paid $10 for one ride. Since this is a post about something to do with children, I also wanted to point out that just down the way is the fabulous Carter’s children’s clothing store. They have a bit of everything here and this is possibly my favorite children’s store I’ve ever been to.
